Purpose

Darkness to Light is a group of men and women finding recovery through Jesus Christ. Our goals are a change in lifestyle, growth in Christian faith, and to offer help to anyone who suffers with an addiction. We believe that a true lasting change can be made by making Jesus Lord of our lives resulting in a life of freedom from drugs and alcohol.

 

Meeting Format

The meeting is opened with a greeting from the moderator/chairperson followed by the reading of the group purpose and principals. Psalms 23, Psalms 139, and the 12 Steps of Christian Recovery are read. The speaker is then introduced. After the speaker shares his or her testimony we then have a time of open discussion. An alternate format of topical discussion is used once a month or, if a speaker is not present.

 

All meetings are open to anyone who seeks help with addiction(s). We invite you to join us in the multi-purpose room every Tuesday at 7 pm. across the street from the main administration building at THE CHRISTIAN MISSION, 102 N. Hildreth Street, Enterprise, Alabama.
